VBS

Yee-Haw! We had a knee-slappin' good time at our Gold Rush VBS!! It was held June 20th - 24th and we averaged 45 kids and 24 helpers everyday! We all had a great time learning all about Jesus and how compared to all others, only he can rightly claim to be God! Nugget, the donkey, and Prospector Pete, our mascots, helped us learn about the impact Jesus has had on our world throughtout the ages on education freedom, science, the arts, and just on people and the value of their lives in general. It's amazin' how he's touched so many lives - hearts! Everyday we learned important lessons, did fun crafts, sang songs, ate snacks, played games that reinforced that Jesus is our true Rock of Ages!! Also, we met our mission goal of collecting $600 to send for renovations at Camp Peniel (actually we collected $632.91). It was a week filled to the brim with fun & laughter, but most importantly with the love of Jesus.
