The Coat Closet Ministry has some exciting news. We are undertaking a mission project of taking 1000 coats to the inner city Dayton Ohio to help out our sister church United Community Brethren. Their Pastor, Reggie Harvey deals with the homeless, the poor, unwed mothers drug addicts, etc.. and it is our desire to show the love of Christ to those who need it the most. Jesus said "Whatever you do for the least of these - that you do unto me." Please join us in our effort to be the hands and feet of Jesus to help keep as many of the Children warm this winter as we can.
If you have gently worn coats and you would like to donate (please be sure they are in wearable condition - not stained or needing repaired) or if you would like to donate to this cause - please contact our church office between 8 am - 12pm weekdays (814)322-1113 or contact Sue Eppley at (814) 410-3123.
We willl be taking the coats to Dayton on Oct. 7th - so please bring in your donations as soon as possible. (We will also accept donations of worn clothes that are in good shape as well.
And also, if you know of anyone else in our area who is in need please contact us!! God Bless!!
